Jo has significant executive and operational experience across multiple industries. This includes roles in Star City Hotel and Casino, 11 years with McDonalds in a range of positions including leading the $1.5 billion supply chain nationally, operating their NSW/ ACT businesses, and leading the Human Resources and Communications teams in Australia.
Jo spent time with Westpac before moving into her current organisation, Ampol, where she is the executive responsible for their B2B and consumer businesses, leading a team of over 7000 people, over 700 sites (including approx. 100 kitchens) and a combined shop and fuel revenue of $4.5 billion across the consumer sector.
The fuel business involves tendering, distribution and servicing clients across the mining, aviation, distributors, transport, agriculture and marine sectors.
A highly commercial leader, Jo clearly delivers through empowering her people, has a track record of building high performing teams and engaging at all levels of her organisations.
Jo also brings a very strong customer orientation and capability in building productive partnerships with clients and suppliers alike to deliver growth.
Importantly, the experience both at McDonalds and Ampol provided her with a strong understanding and history of performance in food safety, personal safety and managing fatal risk.
