AREEA Advisory Boards are comprised of senior and experienced workplace relations and human resources executives drawn from AREEA member companies operating in the diverse resources and energy industry.
The AREEA Board Reference Group is AREEA’s foremost policy forum, at which members inform AREEA policy development and advocacy on a wide range of workforce and workplace relations matters. The Board Reference Group is comprised of senior and experienced workplace relations practitioners drawn from AREEA member companies across the resources and energy industry.
The Resources & Energy Mental Health Advisory Board advises and makes recommendations to AREEA on matters pertaining to mental health and wellbeing. AREEA established this advisory board in response to industry need to build industry capability and provide support to organisations to build mentally healthy workplaces. The advisory board has undertaken landmark projects including industry wide research and a framework for employers.
The AREEA Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Board advises and makes recommendations to AREEA with respect to matters pertaining to diversity, equity and inclusion. The Advisory Board is central to the initiation, development and undertaking of the range of programs, policy development and support activities that AREEA undertakes to support resources and energy employers to increase their diversity and inclusion capability.
The People and Culture Advisory Board guides and advises AREEA’s advocacy and initiatives on the industry’s most pressing workforce and workplace matters. Members are selected from amongst those at the forefront of elevating the priority proactive and response areas that relate to workforces and workplaces. The advisory board focuses on leading to industry outcomes and develeoping support that is delivered by AREEA campaigns, programs, engagement and representation activities.
