Following an immensely successful April event in Perth, we proudly release our program for Brisbane’s best and only resources and energy focused workplace conference.
We start our day with two huge panel sessions breaking down the industry’s most pressing industrial and employee relations challenges.
Our dynamic CEO Panel will share real-world insights on leading complex workforces in a time of industrial change, workforce transformation, and growing expectations from communities and governments.
Next, the Big Picture Panel brings leading figures from employment law, government, academia and industry to unpack the national direction of workplace regulation and employee relations, and it what it all means for employers and practitioners.
Later, get a rare insight into the role of the Federal Circuit and Family Court in presiding over Fair Work Act matters, directly from the Chief Justice and one of the Court’s specialist employment law judges.
Our.packed program also features expert presentations, workshops and panels breaking down East Coast IR/ER trends and practices, all things Enterprise Bargaining, Psychological Safety, HR trends and impacts of AI on work and workforces.
Don’t miss this exceptional professional development and networking opportunity for all workforce professionals … from senior executives, workplace generalists and industrial relations and human resources specialists to developing practitioners.
For those willing to kick on and celebrate our industry’s contributions, the Brisbane AREEA IR & ER Forum flows into our Annual AREEA Gala Dinner, including presentation of the 2025 Industry Awards, on the evening of August 26. Perth’s IR ER Forum an outstanding success
AREEA thanks members for their dynamic participation at the Perth 2025 IR & ER Forum on April 30. The room and the program were packed, with expert panels on people and culture, the mining workforce, psychological safety and the offshore industry.
Key speakers included Woodside Energy VP Technical and Energy Development (and AREEA president) Julie Fallon and Fair Work Commission deputy president Michael Easton.
At a time of global uncertainty and recent and impactful IR changes domestically, Perenti Group CEO Mark Norwell articulated the “big picture challenges” for the resources and energy sector.
Practical workshops on bargaining, HR developments and the influence of AI rounded out an invaluable day of collaboration and insight.
