Industry Briefings – Brisbane & Perth
Last week AREEA hosted members for our first Industry Briefing of 2021 in Perth and Brisbane.
In Perth, AREEA Head of West Coast Ben O’Brien detailed an overview of the issues affecting the industry and AREEA’s work in 2021.
In Brisbane, AREEA Head of East Coast Workplace Relations Katie Jacklin spoke on the workplace implications and challenges of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Attendees also heard how the Morrison Government’s multi-faceted Industrial Relations Reform Bill might impact workplaces from Head of Policy and Public Affairs Tom Reid.
AREEA Director Operations Tara Diamond provided an update on the state-of-the-industry and detail new industry-wide research into the impacts of the pandemic on our industry’s psychological wellbeing.
