One of Australia’s leading resources and energy groups has launched a campaign to reinforce the importance of the sectors to the Australian economy and ongoing job creation amid new attacks from green activists.
Australian Resources and Energy Group, AREEA, will launch television advertisements on Sky News to run over February saying that careers in resources and energy are driving demand for workers in science, engineering, robotics and specialist trades.
AREEA argues that there are more than 200 feasible new mining and gas projects in the investment pipeline which could create 25,000 direct jobs in the sector alone by 2025.
