With more than 25 years’ experience as a senior corporate affairs and stakeholder engagement professional, Orla has worked across some of Australia’s most dynamic and highly-regulated business and policy sectors, including transport, infrastructure, planning and development, health and child safety.
She has established and led communication functions in government agencies, statutory authorities and NFP organisations serving broad and complex stakeholder catchments, and designed and executed consultation and engagement campaigns to support business change and advocate for policy reform.
Orla is responsible for AREEA’s media and corporate affairs activities, developing and leading strategies to build strength in the AREEA brand and support AREEA’s advocacy for an improved workplace policy framework for Australia’s resources and energy sector.
Orla holds Bachelor degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Queensland, is currently an MBA candidate and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
