In The Australian, AREEA Chief Executive Steve Knott says draft orders released by the Fair Work Commission were “extraordinary overreach”, and accused the workplace tribunal of “stepping in to regulate prices across entire supply chains”, warning this may be the thin end of the wedge in allowing the Commission to regulate for other non-labour cost pressures.
