Cristina Iacob is a Senior Workplace Relations Advisor at the Australian Resources and Energy Employer Association (AREEA), based in Perth, with experience across both the private and public sectors.
Cristina is passionate about supporting leaders and organisations to build fair, compliant, and people-focused workplaces grounded in trust and strategic alignment. She is known for her ability to translate complex HR and employment law concepts into practical, accessible guidance. Whether supporting leadership capability, navigating industrial relations matters, or developing tailored workplace solutions, she brings clarity, confidence, and a considered, outcomes-focused approach.
Cristina also has experience managing complex workers’ compensation matters, having previously held roles with respected insurance companies and government agencies, where she developed a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and claims management.
Prior to joining AREEA, Cristina was a Senior Workplace Relations Consultant at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA, where she led the delivery of workplace relations training programs and webinars and was a regular speaker at industry events.
